Wow, Mr. President! Two e-mails from you on the same day! I heard you only sent two emails during your presidency, so I am honored. Thank you so much for writing again. Because this second letter seems to be identical to the first letter, I'll give you a copy of my previous response. Please let me know on the PayPal thing. It would make my life so much easier as a potential contributor.

Thanks for writing. We sure miss you, and your political, international and fiscal leadership. We miss your party in Congress, too. We miss the days of checks and balances, which, since 2000 has been perverted by a yes-men GOP Congress into a system of open checkbooks and negative balances.

I am glad to see you lend your politcal clout to electing Senator Kerry next November. Maybe you can also raise some funds to bounce that TV sportscaster turned GOP sycophant J.D. Hayworth out of office. Not to hit close to home or anything, but that carpetbagging GOP mercenary Rick Renzi needs to go, too. Maybe you can help fund that effort, too.

About the funding: can your friends in the DNC make it easier for us to give money? I would toss some cash their way if I could use PayPal. Because the economy under George Bush (the sequel) mirrors the economy of George Bush (the original), I have a balance on my credit card, which means I'm paying interest on my $2 a gallon gas. I am loathe to pay interest on a political contribution, too. Perhaps I am not the only one who feels that way. If you could have your people look into it, I would be grateful. Thanks again.
